INDIRA GANDHI MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

Victoria  Memorial (VM) Hospital was established in the year 1903. Subsequently ,the name of this hospital has been changed to Indira Gandhi Memorial (IGM) Hospital by the Govt.of Tripura. After establishment of Medical College & simultaneously renaming GBP as AGMC & GBP Hospital, IGM Hospital has been declared as the only Govt. Civil Hospital having almost all the departments of medical care in the state.

Construction of new G+6 building has accomplished with the following facilities :

Bed lift with 26 persons capacity

Ground floor identified for Disaster Management

15 beds for Male, 15 Beds for Female, 01 Minor OT, 02 Stores.

1st Floor

Paediatric Ward Unit I -59 beds, PICU- 10 beds.

2nd floor

Paediatric Ward Unit II- 52 beds, NICU-10 beds&       7 warmers.

3rd floor

14 Deluxe Rooms-14 beds, 4 Single Rooms-4 beds.

4th floor

 02 nos. Deluxe Cabin- 02 beds,

 02 nos. two beded Cabin-04 beds.

 07 nos. four beded Cabin-28 beds.

5th Floor

Male Medicine Ward-30 beds, Female medicine Ward-29 beds, ICU-10 beds yet to admit patients.

6th floor

CDC Ward-52 beds, ‘Comprehensive Genetic Analysis of Rich Factor of Chronic Pancreatitis from the North Eastern Region of India’ project room.

In New (G+2)building we provide the following Services :

Ground Floor

  • OPD Services like- (Surgery, Obs & Gynae, Skin& STD,ENT,MCH Clinic, ICTC, Medcine,Paediatric)
  • Other services like- Radiology, Pathology, Dispensary

1ST floor

  • Labor Room-9 beds, Maternity Block I- 38 beds, Maternity Block II- 27 beds, Surgical Ward-48 beds, Surgical OT Gyane OT, MTP OT.

2nd floor

  • Maternity Block III- 44 beds, Gynae Ward-27 beds.

                                                                                                                                                                              

  • We have a separate building for Eye OPD & separate building for Eye OT & Eye Ward- 40 beds.
  • 24X7 blood bank facilities in our hospital.
  • Eye Bank :In the financial year 2013-14 total 10 nos. of eye were collected & 5 nos. of eye were transplanted.         
  • One Project on(Tele- Ophthalmology ) named ‘Tripura Vision Centre Project’ :The aim of this Project is to combine advance in medical science & ICT to offer effective primary & preventive eye care services to the rural citizens of Tripura.Till March 2014, the project has screened 2,95,105 patients across all the 40 Vision Centres of this 55% were men & rest 45% were women and in the last Financial Year(FY)2013-14, the project screened 74024 patients.

Day to day basis mother & child data is uploaded in the MCTS web portal.
