Health Camp in a remote Tribal village of Gomati District, 18th December

Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. of Tripura is continuously trying to reach to the people with quality health services and to bring about health awareness of the people living in remotest corner of the state. Amarpur Sub-divisional Medical Officer has organised Health Camp in a tribal dominated area of Salka Para in Ompi rural development block of Gomati District in collaboration with PRAYAAS Meeting of District Police Administration.

 

 

Medical Officer in-charge of Ompi CHC, Sub Divisional Medical Officer, Amarpur 02 more Doctors, 01 Pharmacist, 03 ANMs provided services at camp with supply of free drugs. Total 106 patients / beneficiaries attended including 23 children and 08 pregnant women. Out of total patients 14 malaria positive and 14 cataract patients were found. In addition to patient’s examination, discussion on early marriage, adolescent pregnancy, malaria and skin diseases were conducted by Medical Officer in-charge of Ompi CHC, Sub Divisional Medical Officer, Amarpur. There were 09 ASHAs present, who facilitated the programme and mobilized beneficiaries from remote villages.  The Programme was presided over by Shri. Paramjoy Reang, Chairman of Ompichara ADC Village and Mr. Suman Majumder, SDPO, Ompinagar was present.
