INAUGURAL CEREMONY OF KANCHANPUR SDH NEW BUILDING under North Tripura District
The formal Inaugural Ceremony of new Sub-Divisional Hospital building of Kanchanpur was held on 2nd June, 2017. The new SDH building was inaugurated by Sri Manik Sarkar, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tripura at 12.00 noon on 2nd June, 2017 in presence of Sri Badal Choudhury, Hon’ble Health Minister, Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. Of Tripura and other dignitaries.
The CMO, North Dr. Sankar Das welcomed the presidium and all the audience. It was followed by delivering the speech by Dr. J. K. Dev Varma, Director of Health Services, Govt. of Tripura. He had mentioned about the objectives of construction of new Sub-Divisional Hospital building, services to be provided at new hospital and modern equipments and machineries which are to be installed in near future.
Sri Badal Choudhury, Hon’ble Health Minister, Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. Of Tripura had conveyed his thanks to the PWD Department for timely completion of the construction work. Hon’ble Health Minister also extended his thanks to the concerned contractor and labourers whose dedication and sincerity made this huge building up to the satisfaction . Hon’ble Health Minister also stressed upon the need for regular conduct of RKS and PHC level committee meetings, which can minimize the gaps among the common public, Doctors, Staff Nurses and Paramedics.
Other dignitaries who also spoke on this auspicious occasion are namely Mr. Rajendra Reang, Hon’ble MLA, Kanchanpur, Mr. Arun Kumar Chakma, Hon’ble MLA, Pecharthal, Smt. Pratima Das, Hon’ble Sabhadhipati, Uttar Tripura Zilla Parishad, Mr. Rajendra Reang, E.M., TTAADC.
While addressing the common people and guests in the occasion, the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Tripura spoke about the health status of Kanchanpur Sub-Division for last 30-40 years and its chronology. Hon’ble Chief Minister, Tripura had also expressed his concern regarding anemia, malnutrition prevailing in the society. Hon’ble Chief Minister, Tripura had also emphasized for pure drinking water, ensure cleanliness in the hospital as well as in each & every household so that water born diseases can be prevented. Hon’ble Chief Minister, Tripura had made his appeal to the Doctors community, Staff Nurses and Paramedics to be more human while dealing with the patients, simultaneously he also pointed out that in quite a few occasions there are illogical allegations against the Doctors & Nurses, especially when a patient dies even doctors are being physically assaulted by the patient party, their family members and well wishers without any fault of doctors and staff nurses. Such type of atrocities must be ended and a healthy & cordial atmosphere must be prevailed among the patient, patient parties, family members and doctors, staff nurses and paramedics for overall improvement of the health status in our society.
Last but not the least, Mr. Bishnuram Reang, Chairman Dasda BAC gave a vote of thanks to the presidium and public gathering. The president along with all other public representations specially mentioned about peace, harmony and tranquility prevailing among the people of different caste, creed and religion and he had also appealed to everyone to uphold this unique feature of people of Kanchanpur.
The ceremony thus ended with thanks to the chair.
The next session was started by ribbon cutting ceremony by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Tripura followed by unfurling of the “Falak”.
